Microsoft – The Art of Harmony

This was Microsoft’s holiday spot that connected activists and humanitarians together to work on a mural through Microsoft’s slate – “All is Beautiful in the World.’ One of the more enjoyable projects to be involved with, the motion-graphics team worked together on a rotating basis working on various stages of the process.

Design & Execution

Textures were projected onto the topology of the childrens faces to give it the depth we see. These renders were then comped into After Effects. I remember working on this through the Holidays but I don’t regret it, it was super fun and an honor to work with the crack team at the Mill on this one.

Positive Reviews

Hi Melanie,

Not sure you’ve heard but the work you shot for MSFT Spread Harmony have been a HUGE success. Everyone is blown away by it.

Even Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella tweeted about it and he NEVER talks about their advertising. The client is soooo happy and everyone is emailing Kathleen about how great it is, and how they cried and love the message in a time like this.

So thank you so much Mel. Thanks for putting up with our bullshit and hanging in there with us. We are all super proud of this one. See you on the next one.

Our Executive Producer received a lovely message from our client and emailed us all to thank us for our hard work. Getting some appreciation for the hard work and long-hours can be all the validation any artist needs.
