Gatorade: Beat the Blitz VR
I was a part of the team that worked on Gatorade’s Beat the Blitz project- a free-to-play VR simulation that tests your hydration levels as you navigate a high-energy throwing skills competition while dodging blitzers. Guided by former All-Pro quarterback Peyton Manning, the game uses arm motion for ball movement, providing a realistic experience in the pocket. The game also features a true-to-life sized hologram of Peyton by your side guiding you throughout the experience. As part of the project, I contributed to the development of this cutting-edge football experience as part of the design team providing various iterations of designs, assets and UI frames. I enjoyed working with the team and appreciated not only Will’s design instinct but also his effort in getting to know us through the process.
Football Skins
Very early in the process, the idea of football skins which skins could change to some event in-game was explored. These are just some early look-developments.
Hype + Stat Screens
Worked with the design team and closely with the CD Will Adams to design/animate and deliver hype and the Stat screens to the Unity team.
Achievement badges + Trophy Screens
Another asset worked on was the achievements/trophy screens that were iterated. The approved trophy models were then prepped and passed onto the Unity team.
